  How many XJWs went onto another faith....?

  i'm just curious here.. as i am exiting currently and trying to find my new place (and belief system) in this world, i am wondering what the experience was like for other xjws.

  OBAMA WINS NOBEL PEACE PRIZE

  he couldnt bring the olympics to chicago but he accomplished this coveted award after only a few months in office.

  somebody out there sees this man as doing what the planet needs.

  perhaps.. but i for one am not as shocked as most.

  He hasn't DONE anything! The Nobel Committee or whoever has degraded the honor by offering a Nobel peace prize to someone for intending to do something instead of actually accomplishing something.

  Other Religions Compatible to JWs

  just wondering, are there any religions that exist that might be palatable to dubs?

  i realize all of their teaching goes against this, but i'm wondering from an outside or neutral view, can you think of any that would work for someone who was/is a jw?

  No other group is really too much like the jw's. The HOSEHEADS in Brooklyn always keep them believing some of the weirdest crap.

  Tired of the Hypocrisy

  I usually play the lottery and lose. Unless I buy from my lucky charm. She is a nice gal at the grocery who when she sells me a ticket will say good luck to me and I always win at least one dollar! I have been getting tix from her for like a year now and it never fails. Only thing is I never know when she will be in. I once won $12 and another time I won over $50! Mostly the wins are within the 1-5 dollar range though....

  Prejudice in the Kingdom Hall.

  have you ever noticed how in the kingdom halls who have a mix of races, you find the whites sit in one area of the kingdom hall, and the blacks have their own section?

  the district conventions and circuit assemblys too.

  i've noticed one particular section where there were just black people who made up about 20% of the dc and the rest were white.

  My brother and I were called TACOS by the elder who was in charge of fixing the food for a ca. We left the S O B hanging. We just turned off the burners and walked into the crowd. He was sure pissed off when he came looking for us....LOL But as a general rule I have not seen any segregation in any of the halls I attended.

  i still can't believe it.

  she was here for the bbq, we had an awesome time, laughing, her telling stories from our childhoods.

  i gave her a hug and told her i loved her before she left.
